Exchange & Return Policy

1. Quality Control

All Fairtex products undergo a two-stage Quality Control (QC) inspection before shipping:

  • Initial QC at our production facility

  • Final QC at our Thailand warehouse prior to dispatch

This ensures items leave our facility in new and functional condition.

2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under Directive 2011/83/EU, EU consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving their order.

Fairtex provides a 15-day return period from the date of delivery for eligible returns, provided the product meets the conditions listed in Section 5.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Personalized, custom-made, or made-to-order items

  • Sealed hygiene products (mouthguards, groin protectors) 

3. Return Destination & Costs

All returns and exchanges must be sent to our warehouse in Thailand.

In accordance with EU consumer law, unless Fairtex is responsible for an error, the customer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs

  • Any import duties, customs charges, or taxes when returning goods to Thailand

  • Shipping and customs fees associated with replacement items

Outbound shipping costs are refunded only if Fairtex made a fulfillment error.

4. Suspected Defects

If you believe an item is defective, please first contact customer service with clear photos or videos.

The item must be returned to our Thailand warehouse for inspection.

After inspection:

  • If a defect is confirmed: Fairtex will replace the item at no cost and refund reasonable return shipping fees.

  • If no defect is found: The original item will be returned to you. Return and reshipment costs remain the customer’s responsibility.

This process aligns with Articles 14 and 15 of Directive 2011/83/EU.

5. Conditions for Accepting Returns

 

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be:

  • Returned within 15 days of delivery
  • Unused, unwashed, and in resalable condition
  • Free of odors, deodorant marks, sweat, animal hair, or visible wear
  • In the original packaging with all tags and accessories

Returns not meeting these conditions may be refused under EU consumer protection rules.

Hygiene-sensitive items (mouthguards, groin protectors) cannot be returned or exchanged.

6. Genuine Leather Characteristics

Many Fairtex products are crafted from authentic, natural leather. The following are normal characteristics of real leather and not considered defects:

  • Natural grain variations
  • Subtle wrinkles or creases
  • Minor texture differences
  • Small natural marks or imperfections in the hide

These natural features do not affect durability or performance.

Only clear manufacturing defects will be recognized as faults.

7. Shipping & Processing Times

Parcels leave our EU warehouse within 3–5 business days and are delivered through express couriers such as UPS or DPD. Typical transit time is 5–7 business days, though customs inspections, weather, or local regulations may occasionally cause delays.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Reviewing the size guide before placing an order
  • Using secure packaging when returning items
  • Including their order number in the return parcel

To avoid unnecessary charges or delays—including customs rejections—we strongly recommend verifying your size and order details before completing your purchase.
